Visual Verification provide security and communication solutions across a broad spectrum of industries. COMPANY HISTORY
Visual Verification were formed in 1994. Having recognised a gap in the security market, the management established one of the first Monitoring Stations of its kind in Europe. Following large investment, the Company has grown considerably over the past 10 years to become the largest independent monitoring station operating in the United Kingdom. The industry renowned control room is now situated in Timperley, Cheshire.
The success of the Company continues to be based on tailored personal service and company specific solutions. This can be illustrated by the fact that Visual Verifications first ever client remains with the Company to this day.
CERTIFICATIONS
To remain at the forefront of the remote monitoring industry, Visual Verification are acutely aware that the highest possible industry standards have to be achieved and constantly maintained. The Company is certified by the SSAIB (The Security Systems & Alarms Inspections Board) to BS:5979, BS:8418 and ISO 9001:2000.
BS:5979, amongst other things, governs the physical construction of the monitoring facility, the integrity of the equipment within it and the existence of a universal back-up facility. The requirements also include a complete audit trail, staff vetting (to BS:7858) and the need for operational requirements.
The latest British Standard in the industry is BS:8418. This standard is a code of practice which governs the installation and remote monitoring of detector activated CCTV systems. Covering areas such as detector configuration, camera positioning/lighting and monitoring station procedures - the standard is the first of its kind.
